Article settings
Article preferences (Settings → Articles → Preferences, or during onboarding) shape every article the pipeline writes for a site. They are applied per site (org default plus a per-site override) and take effect immediately on the next generation.
Writing
- Article style and length — tone and target size (short → comprehensive, each with an approximate word/char range).
- Global instructions — free-text rules applied to every article (brand voice, words to avoid, things to always mention).
- Auto-publish— when on, articles that clear the quality bar publish automatically; otherwise they wait in Review. (This is the single source of truth shared with the site's Publish mode.)
Images
- Featured image style and in-body image style — the selected style genuinely drives generation (watercolor, realistic, flat, etc.), independently for the featured image and the supporting images.
- Images per article — featured only, or featured plus in-body images placed through the article.
- Overlay title on featured image — composites the title, in your brand color, crisply over the AI image.
- Style reference image — upload one image and every AI image matches its style/palette for a consistent look.
- Custom image instructions — added to every AI image prompt. You can also replace or remove the featured image per article in the workspace editor.
Structure & engagement
- Table of Contents— a linked TOC generated from the article's headings.
- YouTube video — embeds a relevant video from your own channel.
- Call-to-Action — add one or more CTAs (text + URL); the most relevant one is appended per article, falling back to your homepage.
- Include infographics — formats stats/comparisons as tables or structured lists instead of prose.
- Include emojis and First-person writing — toggle emoji use and first- vs third-person voice.
Products & comparisons
- Compare external products & tools (AI) — lets AI reference and compare well-known third-party tools for context. These are not your products.
- Product Catalog → Feature & compare my products — when enabled, articles reference and link to your real catalog products (imported via CSV) with their exact URLs, where relevant. See Keywords for how content is planned.
Links
Internal links are added during the SEO pass as absolute URLs on your connected site(using each linked article's real published URL when available), plus automatic pillar↔cluster links for topic clusters. When publishing to WordPress, featured and in-body images are uploaded into the site's media library.
