How it works
Every article moves through a state machine. Each step's output is saved, so a run always resumes from the last successful step.
The pipeline
- Research (SERP) — analyze the top results for the target keyword to find gaps and required topics.
- Brief — gaps vs. the top 10, required H2s, entities, word target, and an original angle. This is what makes content rank — it is never skipped.
- Outline & draft — a full draft written to the brief, in your brand voice (built from your sample articles).
- SEO pass — keyword in title / first-100-words / meta / slug / image-alt, H2/H3 structure, FAQ, JSON-LD schema, and internal links to your other articles (including automatic pillar↔cluster links for topic clusters).
- Image — a featured image in your chosen style, plus optional in-body images. Styles, a title overlay, and a style-reference image are all configurable in Article Settings.
- Quality score — the draft is scored against the brief and an SEO rubric.
Quality gate & learning
The score is a hard gate: an article is never published below the quality bar. If a draft falls short, the engine feeds the specific weaknesses back in and regenerates, looping until it clears the bar or hits the attempt limit (then it's flagged for review). Both failures and high-scoring successes are stored as learnings and fed into future prompts, so output improves over time. Content is written to read as human-authored (no AI tells, no em-dashes).
Review & publish
Drafts land in the Reviewqueue, where you can edit them in the workspace editor or ask the AI for targeted rewrites. On approval, Vireloop publishes through the site's connector — as a draft first, then live depending on your publishing settings. For WordPress, the featured and in-body images are uploaded into the site's media library. Every publish attempt is logged for audit and rollback.
Autopilot & scheduling
Each site has a monthly article plan (8 / 30 / 60 / 90) and a publish hour. Scheduled slots generate automatically — a background worker (run on a free schedule via GitHub Actions, or on your host) enqueues due articles, runs the full pipeline including images, syncs Search Console/GA4, re-verifies backlinks, and runs auto-improvements. You can also generate any slot manually from the Content Planner. If auto-publish is off, finished drafts wait in Review.
