Backlinks & Off-page

The Backlinks page tracks the links pointing to your site, verifies them automatically, grades the profile's health, and suggests where to earn more.

Add & auto-verify

You only need the URL of the page that links to you. Vireloop fetches that page, confirms it actually links to your domain, and auto-fills the target page, anchor text, dofollow/nofollow, domain rating, and live/lost status. (You can override any field.)

  • Re-check — refresh a single backlink against its live source page at any time.
  • Re-check all — sweep every backlink for the site in one click; it reports how many are live vs. lost.
  • The autopilot worker re-verifies all tracked backlinks on each run, so lost links get flagged automatically.

Link-quality breakdown

A quality card summarizes the profile against off-page best practice:

  • Dofollow vs nofollow — dofollow passes ranking equity; a natural profile has some of both.
  • Referring domains vs total links — unique domains matter more than raw link count.
  • Average DR of live links — quality at a glance.
  • Anchor-text mix — anchors grouped into branded / partial-match / exact-match / naked / generic, with a verdict that warns when exact-match anchors get too high (a link-spam signal).

Link opportunities

The Link opportunities finder proposes realistic, white-hat prospects — guest posts, resource/broken-link pages, unlinked mentions, digital PR, and directories — with a pitch angle for each, based on your niche and competitors. Track outreach status (new → contacted → won/lost) on each prospect.

What's automated vs. not

  • Verifying / tracking backlinks you know about, and internal links between your articles (added during the SEO pass) — fully automated, free.
  • Discovering unknown external backlinksacross the web needs a paid crawler/API, so that isn't included. The finder covers where to get links, not discovery of existing ones.
